What is the 7-day reverse-trial?
The reverse-trial gives you 7 days with all paid features unlocked — no watermark, full length, every style — so you can ship real work from day one. After 7 days, if you haven't chosen a paid plan, your account simply downgrades to the Free plan. Nothing is charged, and nothing you made disappears.
We do it this way because it's honest about value: you experience the full product first and decide afterwards, rather than hitting a wall of locked features and guessing. If the captions are good enough to keep using, you'll know within the week.
Why flat pricing instead of credits or per-minute?
Flat pricing means the busy month and the quiet month cost the same. Yes. The Free plan is genuinely free with no credit card: 3 videos a month, up to 90 seconds each, exported at 720p with a watermark on the video. SRT and VTT subtitle downloads are always watermark-free, even on Free. It uses the same engine and the same 40+ animated styles as the paid plans, so you can judge the real caption quality before paying anything.
What's the reverse-trial?
When you start, you get 7 days with full paid features unlocked — no watermark, full length, all styles — so you can ship real work immediately. After 7 days, if you haven't picked a paid plan, your account simply downgrades to the Free plan; nothing is charged and nothing is lost. It's a trial that starts you at the top and steps down, rather than locking features away up front.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Every paid plan is month-to-month with no contract and no lock-in — cancel anytime from your account and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Annual plans are billed once for the year at the ~30% discount; monthly plans can be cancelled before the next renewal.
Do you add a watermark?
Only on Free-plan exported video. Every paid plan — Creator, Pro and Studio — exports video with no watermark. And on every plan, including Free, the SRT and VTT subtitle files you download are plain text with no watermark and no branding.
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing saves about 30%: Creator is $13/mo billed annually instead of $19, Pro is $27/mo instead of $39, and Studio is $49/mo instead of $69. You're billed once for the year. Use the monthly/annual toggle above to see each plan's effective monthly price either way.
Is the pricing really flat — no per-minute metering or seat games?
Yes. You pay a flat $19, $39 or $69 a month (or the annual equivalent) and that's the bill. There's no per-minute or per-export metering that spikes in your busy months, and no per-seat creep on the solo plans. You always know what you'll pay in advance — the opposite of credit-based or usage-gated pricing.
How is payment handled — is checkout secure and is tax included?
Checkout is handled by Stripe as the merchant of record, so payment is secure and any applicable VAT, GST or sales tax is calculated and remitted for you — you don't have to think about it. We never see or store your card details.
